CFNR's strength lies  on its people which comprises of top-caliber faculty members, competent research, extension and professional staff, and dedicated administrative staff. Its human resource are positioned in the four academic departments under the Forest Biological Sciences (FBS), Forest Products and Paper Science (FPPS), Social Forestry and Forest Governance (SFFG) and the Institute of Renewable Natural Resources (IRNR).
